I have got a lot of queries from my lovely readers asking me about good budget skin care and make up products. So I thought that I would like to share with you guys some really good budget face washes for oily skin. Don’t be sad my dry skinned beauties, there are two among these five which can be used by you also and will work great even on your skin. So do read.. So here is a list of Top 5. I ran out of the 3rd one though (Sorry for no pic!) and would repurchase when I run out of the others face washes.
First, I have an oily/combination skin (extremely oily T-zones with not so oily cheeks) and the ones I am about to rave about are really the best budget ones and have suited my skin well. None of these have ever broken me out. None of these dry the skin (Just one does but you have to read further to know which one). All of these are really mild and gentle cleansers which make sure my face is squeaky clean. I have never experienced any irritation on my skin after using any one of these and since they are so in budget, I don’t mind having these around.
Best Budget Face Wash No. 5
Everyuth Naturals Lemon Face Wash
This face wash is a gentle cleanser with a gel like consistence and has a nice citrusy smell. It’s key ingredients are Lemon, Green Apple and Honey and all are amazing for oily skin. The only reason it’s No. 5 is that it dries my skin but since it is soap-free, it gets my points. Now, Everyuth has revamped the packaging of all their products and you will find this one in a re-vamped avatar, which is a lot better than the one in my snap.
Price: Rs 65 for 125g
Best Budget Face Wash No. 4
Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face Wash
Now I am sure, everyone who battles an oily skin ( men included!) might have used it. It’s actually a very nice mild cleanser for oily skin that also helps in preventing pimples. It’s key ingredients are Neem and Turmeric which works amazingly for oily skin. It doesn’t dry my skin and gives me a clean face.
Price: Rs 80 for 100ml
Best Budget Face Wash No. 3
Nature’s Essence Aroma Gel Aromatic Face Wash
This is one of the nicest smelling face wash that I have used. I don’t mind fragrance in a face wash but when it’s as nice as this one. it’s even better. Again this is a gel based cleanser which is so mild and leaves my face clean and fresh. It’s key ingredients are Neem and Lavender oil, which works for all skin types. This can be used by Dry Skinned Beauties as well. It’s also a soap free cleanser (added advantage!)
Price: Rs 75 for 100ml
Best Budget Face Wash No. 2
Clean and Clear Foaming Face Wash
This is an oil-free cleanser that does help in controlling acne. It leaves my skin squeaky clean and also makes sure I stay acne free. The reason it is No 2 is that I don’t use it in all season, only when I am prone to acne as this one dries me out a bit. (If you want to know a cleanser which fights acne really aggressively but is yet gentle on the skin and non-drying, click). Not that it can’t be used in all the seasons! But I prefer more organic cleansers like No 1 below.
Price: Rs 45 for 50ml/Rs 80 for 100ml
Best Budget Face Wash No. 1
Patanjali Face Wash
I would call this the under dog of the face wash world. I think this is one of the best face washes I have used. I use this throughout the seasons and it works amazingly on my skin. So gentle and mild. It’s key ingredients are Orange Peel, Neem, Tulsi and Aloe Vera. This face wash uses the least base materials(which are all chemicals) than any face wash I have used. This can be used by Dry Skinned gals as well and I am sure you won’t be disappointed. The only problem with this one is the availability. It’s available only at Patanjali Stores across India and certain online stores where it’s mostly out of stock. I might have re-purchased it about ten times or so!! At times, when my skin is irritated, this is my go-to cleanser as it doesn’t irritate my skin further and makes it softer and smoother.
Price: Rs 60 for 60g
